How we handle your data.

This page explains what personal information Oxen Network collects when you use this website, how we use it, and who we share it with. We try to keep it plain and short.

What we collect

• When you place an order: name, email, shipping address, and payment information. Payment details (card number, CVC) are entered directly with our payment processor and never touch our servers.
• When you contact us: whatever you choose to send (typically name, email, message).
• Automatically: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To fulfil your order and communicate about it.
• To respond to enquiries you send us.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax records, accounting).
• To keep the site secure and functioning.

Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We use a small number of trusted services to run this site and process orders. We share only the information each one needs:

• Stripe — processes payments. Card details and billing address are collected directly by Stripe on its hosted checkout page. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Netlify — hosts this website and our serverless functions. See netlify.com/privacy.
• Google Fonts — serves the fonts you see on this page. Your IP address is exposed to Google when fonts load.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it for advertising.

International transfers

Some of our sub-processors (Stripe, Netlify, Google) are based outside Canada and may process your data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses and the providers' own compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA).

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction (typically 7 years in Canada). Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete it (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
• Export it in a portable format.
• Opt out of any non-essential communications.

Cookies

This site uses only the minimum cookies required for its functions (e.g. session/cart state during checkout). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
